Digital book publishing is a term which describes the next generation of
book publishing, as opposed to the traditional paper only book which we
have all come to accept for thousands of years, books can now be
published in various digital forms as well as this traditional method.
This also covers spoken word / audio books as well of course. The different forms of digital
eBook publishing all fundamentally have the
traditionally printed text displayed in some form on an electronic device.
This could be something like a PDF file displayed on a computer, a self
contained application on a phone, Blackberry or Apple iPhone, or
on a specially conceived device such as the Amazon Kindle, which is a
electronic device built to only display electronic books. We work with
both publishers (large and small), and individual authors to publish
their books in all these different formats, to gain them as much
readership, and by default as much revenue as possible for their
creations. We generally work in partnership and license in book content and work on a revenue
share basis with most content owners, often earning them a far greater
revenue and percentage then offered to them by a traditional publishing
company. Many publishing companies are now finding through working with
us that their digital sales revenue often exceeds their traditional
retail sales income. We also would like to make clear we do not want to
see the end of traditional books, in fact as a company we also sell into
retail both online and high street based, normal paper, traditional
books, and in fact represent various publishers in the normal retail
market as well, but what we do try to achieve is a wider spread of
